Seedball Wildflower Grab Bags - Shade Mix

Each bag contains 100 balls which covers up to 5 square metres, ideal for creating larger wildflower patches. Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.

Each ball contains approximately 30 seeds from a mixture of Bellflower, Forget-me-not, Meadow buttercup, Meadowsweet, Oxeye daisy, Ragged robin and Red campion.

A mix of British native wildflowers that are ideal for shadier areas of your garden and balcony. While these will struggle in total shade (as would all flowers!), this mix is designed for spots which receive only dappled sun or sun for just one part of the day (although will grow equally well in areas of full sun). 

Paper packaging is compostable and 100% plastic-free. . Full instructions included on the back of the pack. Incredibly easy to use – simply scatter on top of soil or compost (no digging or expertise required!) and nature will do the rest! Best scattered from early Autumn until the end of Spring.

Mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and and the seeds sprout. All wildflowers are listed by the RHS as perfect for pollinators.
